Chang Receives 2008 Pantheon Award

November 14, 2008 -

Michelle Chang, Assistant Professor of Chemistry  and member of the Graduate Group in Bioengineering, was presented with a 2008 DiNA Rising Star Award at BayBio’s yearly Pantheon Awards Ceremony. Chang was honored for her work involved with learning how to build biosynthetic pathways in engineered cells for applications in energy, medicine and materials.

She and others were commended for their work and its impact on the advancement of science and investment not only in Northern California, but around the world. The night, hosted by BayBio, the trade association serving the life science industry in Northern California, is often likened to the Oscars for the biotech industry.

Congratulations Michelle!
