RESEARCH

Zhang, Xiaoliang
Our research focuses on parallel imaging and high field MR methodology development and is funded by NIH and QB3 with strong support from Department of Radiology. Our lab is located in UCSF Mission Bay campus and equipped with modern MRI systems (including 7T, 3T whole body MRI), HyperSense DNP equipment for hyperpolarized C-13 in vivo studies, fully equipped electronic shop and mechanical shop. Currently I have the rotation projects in the following topics: 1) parallel imaging at high fields; 2) transmit SENSE algorithm; 3) new method of RF coil arrays; 4) Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI); 5) Multi-channel transmitter system for 7T MR. 5) dual-frequency RF detectors for low gamma nuclear MR spectroscopic imaging in vivo.
