Looking for eager young employees? Want to find the best and the brightest young professionals BEFORE they finish college?
Offer 6-7 month internships at your company to advanced UC Berkeley undergraduates through the
Berkeley Bioengineering Co-Op Program
The Berkeley Bioengineering Co-Op Program allows undergraduate students to take one semester off school to work full-time for participating industry and government employers.
How it works: - Sign up with our office to list your job - Students are recruited from across UC Berkeley majors - We accept and screen applicant and set up interviews - You choose your student and hire them as an employee for 6-7 months, January - July or June - December - Students withdraw from the university for one semester - Students are guaranteed readmission to Berkeley and administrative support through the application, withdrawal and readmission process - Your company pays standard wages and benefits - University does not provide housing or transit - Students must return to school at least one semester after employment
What's in it for you? - Reduce recruitment costs by early identification of outstanding candidates - Preview intern as a prospective employee before hiring permanently - Staff short-term projects when long-term hiring is not feasible - Increase your visibility on campus through word of mouth - Help students learn about their future as bioengineers
