Lee lab collects awards at nano conference |
October 2005
Bioengineering graduate students from Professor Luke Lee's research group garnered a collection of high-profile honors at the Ninth International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (µTAS), held in Boston from October 9th to 13th.
Gang Liu was selected to give presentations on two of his submitted
papers - a rare honor for anyone at an international meeting, but
especially rare for a student presenter. Liu presented on
"Nanoplasmonic Biomolecular Ruler With A 2 Nm Spatial Resolution For
Probing Restricted Digestion Of Nucleic Acids", and "Soft
Lithography-Based Nano-Well Sers Substrate For Label-Free Biomolecular
Detection Chip".
Dino DiCarlo won the best poster award on
Monday for his poster on "Large Scale Single Cell Analysis Using High
Density Hydrodynamic Trapping Arrays", while Phillip Lee won best
poster on Wednesday for " Microfluidic Cell Culture Array For
Quantitative Biology".
Congratulations Gang, Dino and Phillip! |
