We are pleased to announce the Third Annual UC System-wide Biomedical Engineering Symposium at the University of California, Berkeley.

The event will take place on May 5-6, 2002 (Sunday-Monday) and will feature students and faculty from the University of California system representing the broad areas of tissue engineering, biomechanics, bioinformatics, nano-bioengineering, BioMEMS and imaging. The symposium will also include several distinguished speakers and panels that will focus on emerging science. The format will include both short talks and poster sessions.

A celebration dinner will take place at the Faculty Club on Sunday evening and will be preceded by a cocktail hour and Industry/Academic Job Fair. We are currently finalizing the agenda, which will be posted on the symposium web site
