UCSF Professor of Physiology and member of the Bioengineering Graduate Group Tejal Desai won first prize for her innovative research on oral drug delivery from Eurand, a specialty pharmaceutical company, and the Controlled Release Society (CRS).
Desai won the Eurand Award Grand Prize for work on the use of silicon-based micro-machined devices for the controlled delivery of oral therapeutics. Desai and other prize winners presented their research at the 33rd Annual CRS Meeting held in July in Vienna, Austria. |
