Deadline Open Deadline (Apply 1 month before requested starting date) Program Description THESIS-PART APPOINTMENTS support qualified graduate students who wish to visit Argonne for periods from a few days to a few months, so that they may utilize special Laboratory facilities. The LABORATORY-GRADUATE RESEARCH PROGRAM offers master's or doctoral students the opportunity to carry out thesis research at the laboratory, under co-sponsorship of an Argonne staff member and a university professor. Appointments are for 1 year. Stipend THESIS-PART APPOINTMENTS provide financial support, consisting of travel, housing, and a per diem payment, may be provided to help defray the cost of visiting Argonne. The LABORATORY-GRADUATE RESEARCH PROGRAM provides a stipend, tuition payment up to $5,000 per year, and certain travel expenses. Targeted Fields Health Sciences. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences.
