Khine in Genome Technology

May 2007 Our own Bioengineering alumna Michelle Khine is on the cover of this month's edition of Genome Technology Magazine. Khine, 2005 Ph.D. recipient, is now an Assistant Professor at UC Merced. She was featured in an article on "Conquering the Almighty Cell", covering individual cell analysis. While a graduate student at Berkeley, Khine developed a microfluidic platform for single-cell electroporation, now produced by a local start-up company she helped found.
