Computational Biology & Bioinformatics Major Program Option - Computational Biophysics

This track combines theoretical and computational approaches toward problems such as protein folding, structure prediction, structural biology and mechanical properties of DNA. Computational biophysics is highly multidisciplinary among the areas of structural biology, physical chemistry, physics, computer science and mathematical optimization. Students have the opportunity to take advanced technical electives in areas of biology, physical sciences, computer science and
bioengineering.
