Mentor a high school team in the 10th annual BioEHSC™, a 7-week bioengineering research and design competition, scheduled to be in-person on UC Berkeley’s campus on Saturday, April 8th, 2023! Teams will pursue a biological or medical engineering project, and present their findings to a panel of professors, industry representatives, and graduate students in a final research symposium. Mentors should commit 1-3 hours of work per week to support their team, and will be monitoring the team’s progress and answering their questions, but not doing the brunt of the project. Mentors have the option of receiving 2 P/NP units through BioE 98/198. Plus, it looks great on grad/med school, NSF grant apps, and more!
Check out our virtual mentor info session on Thursday, February 2nd at 7 PM PST! Here is the Zoom link for the info session. Furthermore, if students would like to serve as mentors for the competition, they can sign up here (https://bit.ly/
