Immediate Food Support

  • Students can visit the Basic Needs Center Food Pantry for immediate food resources 
  • Fill out the Basic Needs Assistance Form: Our team can help students connect to BNC and community food programs for alternative support options during the shutdown

Several other campus resources remain available to support students affected by the government shutdown and CalFresh interruptions including Financial AidUniversity Health Services, and Dean of Students resources.

Off-Campus Resources

  • For more immediate food assistance, call the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) Food Helpline at 1-510-635-3663 (Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm), or visit FoodNow.net. The Food Helpline will connect callers to a source for groceries or a hot meal the same day.
