Deadline for creating a BioE DeCal course 11/1

Interested in proposing a BioE DeCal for Spring 2027? Please review the instructions on the BioE website, BioE DeCal Information & Instructions(opens in new tab).

Be mindful of the BioE department deadline: November 1. This is different from the campus-wide deadline, so be sure to plan accordingly.

When proposing or renewing a DeCal, make sure you:

  • Obtain all required signatures.
  • Complete and submit the course proposal forms according to the Academic Senate’s instructions.
  • Submit a new course proposal form every semester in order to renew an existing DeCal.
