Emory Master of Biomedical Innovation and Development
The industry-focused Master of Biomedical Innovation and Development – Advanced Therapeutics program trains the next generation of leaders in bringing medical breakthroughs to the patient.
A full-time, one-year residential program at Emory University offered through the Department of Biomedical Engineering, it is distinct from programs in traditional, small molecule drug discovery and development, focusing on the emergent industries of cell therapy, gene therapy, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. Our program is unique with its focus on the full business spectrum of advanced therapy, everything it takes to get a new treatment to a patient and launch a new product. We incorporate business and market context in addition to scientific and technical development expertise. Students graduate with an understanding of how various functions integrate to develop and launch a new product on the market and are ready to make an impact in their next role.
