The Chen Lab (www.chenlab-ucsf.org) at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking junior research specialists to join our dynamic and interdisciplinary team in the newly established Weill Institute for Neurosciences on the Mission Bay campus. Our research focus is on developing cutting-edge technologies to study brain-body physiology and to design new therapies for circuit disorders. We are looking for candidates who are interested in and/or have experience in the areas of systems and computational neuroscience, electrophysiology, animal behavior, and physiology.
 
We are looking for highly motivated Junior/Assistant/Associate/Full Specialists interested in engineering biomolecules, cells, and devices within the nervous system. Ideally, candidates should possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) in biological/materials/electrical engineering, neuroscience, molecular biology or related disciplines by the time the position begins.
