UC Berkeley Master of Biotechnology (MBT)

The UC Berkeley Master of Biotechnology (MBT) program is now accepting applications for Summer 2026!

The MBT is an intensive one-year, three-semester program combining advanced training in bioscience, business, and data science with a required full-time internship in either industry or academic research. Students gain hands-on experience, career support, and access to the Bay Area’s world-leading biotech network, preparing them for impactful careers in biotechnology, life sciences, and innovation.
