Symposium Overview

The annual UC Systemwide Bioengineering Symposium is an opportunity for the bioengineering communities of the entire University of California system to come together to share knowledge, best practices, and to forge stronger relationships and collaborations. Please see the program for planned events and opportunities to present.

The event is co-sponsored by the University of California Bioengineering Institute of California (BIC). The BIC consists of ten campuses with 8 Departments of Bioengineering, encompassing more than 340 faculty, over 750 graduate students and nearly 2,500 undergraduate students.

Since 2000, these departments have joined together for an annual symposium held in June at one of the campuses within the UC System. At each of the previous meetings, students and faculty came together to exchange state-of-the-art information and forge research collaborations.
