Berkeley Bioengineering continued our winning streak in the College of Engineering undergraduate poster session with Joanna Lee taking the prize for Best Oral Presentation in the Fall 2006 competition today.
Lee won for her poised presentation of research in Fletcher Lab, “Pitch Angle Affects Efficiency in Spiroplasma Swimming”. This was the Bioengineering Department’s fifth win in a row, the fourth win for Fletcher Lab, and the second for Joanna.
The two other winners for this semester were Ipsheeta Furtado of Engineering Physics for “Implementation of Pulsed Laser Deposition at ARPES Beamline 7.0”, and Tracy Wang of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science for her “Tele-Immersions Project”.
Congratulations everyone! Keep it up BioE!
