Bioengineering undergrads continued their dominance of the semiannual undergraduate poster session with Mike Kurylo winning the prize for best content at the Spring 2006 Undergraduate Science & Engineering Poster Session.
Mike was honored for the content of his poster, “A Novel Method to Quantify White Matter Volume – Applied to ALS Patients”. His research was conducted with UCSF professor Roland Henry, member of the Bioengineering Graduate Group.
Other winners at the poster session were Catherine Harrison and Allen Lee in the Visuals category, and Erin Inglish for Verbal presentation.
Bioengineering students have taken first or second place in the poster session every semester since Fall 2004, a winning streak started by Marcio vonMuhlen and Laleh Jalilian and continued by Joanna Lee, all of Fletcher Lab.
