Recent Bioengineering alumnus Yick Lee published an article on brain aneurysms in the Spring 2006 issue of California Engineer, a student journal of the UC engineering colleges.
“Hemodynamics of a cerebral aneurysm model” explains the mechanisms and math behind modeling a blood vessel bulge in the brain. Much of the background for her article she learned doing undergraduate research in the laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Professor Ömer Savas.
