Conboy receives Faculty Award

Dr. Irina Conboy, Assistant Professor of Bioengineering, has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Faculty Research Fund for the Biological Sciences. The funds will go to support her research project,establishing a Dedicated Mouse Colony for Testing the Regenerative Capacity of hES Cells in vivo. 
The Faculty Research Fund for the Biological Sciences was created by a generous gift from anonymous donors, to enhance biological research by providing short-term support for feasibility studies and equipment.

Conboy was also recently selected as an Ellison Medical Foundation New Scholar in Aging for her work on stem cell aging. Congratulations Irina!
