The Departmental Citation

This is long-standing award is given to one bioengineering major for their exceptional academic performance, in addition to impressive achievements in other areas of student life, such as research, teaching, or service. It is customarily awarded to a graduating senior. Students with top GPAs are invited to apply in the spring.

The Chair’s Award in Bioengineering

This award, unique to the Bioengineering Department, honors one graduating senior for their outstanding achievements in an area of personal passion, in addition to maintaining the highest academic performance. Students with top GPAs are invited to apply in the spring.

Bioengineering Department Service Award

This award recognizes one graduating senior for exceptional achievements and dedication to serving the community, in addition to maintaining high academic performance. Nominations are called for from students, faculty and staff in the spring, after which nominees are invited to apply.
