The Department of Bioengineering congratulates Tyler Hillman – BioE senior – for having his work published in Genome Biology titled: “An unappreciated role for RNA surveillance” by R. Tyler Hillman, Richard E. Green, and Steven E. Brenner.
Tyler began his undergraduate research experience two years ago through the Guidant Summer Undergraduate Research Program in Prof. Steven E. Brenner’s lab. Two hard and long years paid off when his research was finally published this month!
Tyler gives great recognition to the Guidant Summer Research Program at the end of the paper. He goes on to say, “I would have never have had the opportunity to participate in this research without [Guidant’s] funding.”
Great job, Tyler! And special thanks to the Guidant Foundation for their continued funding
