January 2004 Prof. Dick Karp, Ph.D., University Professor of Computer Science, Bioengineering and Mathematics recently received the 2004 Benjamin Franklin Medal in Computer and Cognitive Science in recognition for his remarkable contributions to the understanding of computational complexity.
