Internship, Single Cell, 10X Genomics

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the Molecular Biology team as a Research Associate. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques and a strong desire to learn about building great products for solving complex biological problems. 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current junior/senior pursuing a BS/MS/PHD in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related field and 1+ years of hands-on molecular biology experience in an academic or industrial setting
• Proficiency in standard molecular biology techniques such as cell/tissue preparation, nucleic acid purification (RNA/DNA) and amplification, qPCR, and DNA sequencing
• Courses taken in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology
• Familiarity with basic data analysis tools such as Excel
• Familiarity with lab best practices for avoiding nucleic acid cross-contamination 
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
