Bioengineering Ph.D. student Akwasi Apori won the Lab on a Chip Widmer Poster Award at the 2011 International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (MicroTAS).
The Widmer Poster Award Competition, sponsored by Lab on a Chip, is given to recognize excellence amongst all poster presenters at the annual MicroTAS Conference.
Apori, a researcher in Berkeley BioE Assistant Professor Amy Herr’s lab, was honored for his poster on “Brain Injury Screening Diagnostics For Emergency Medicine: Quantitation Of Cerebrospinal Fluid Specific Proteins In Human Nasal Discharge,” co-authored with Herr.
